چکیده
Abstract Apium graveolens (celery) has various roles both in the food and medicine sectors. It grows very well tropical subtropical areas of Africa Asia, including Indonesia. This Apiaceae member contains a number phytoconstituents, geographical origin is known to significantly determine type concentration phytochemicals plant material. study was carried out validate develop thin layer chromatography (TLC)-based fingerprinting combined with chemometrics, i.e., Principal Component Analysis (PCA) Cluster (CA), evaluate quality celery harvested from thirteen different origins The mobile phase first optimized simplex axial design, resulting 2-propanol, toluene, dichloromethane (1:6:1) as optimum for stable precise TLC system sample analysis. When analyzed TLC-fingerprints could discriminate celeries origins. PCA score plot two principal components (PCs) CA clearly distinguished samples’ properties classified them into four clusters. Samples grouped one cluster were concluded have comparable quality, while those clusters had qualities.

متن کاملEvaluation of the Antioxidant Activity of Three Varieties of Honey from Different Botanical and Geographical Origins
It is well established that honey contains substantial antioxidant compounds that could protect cell components from the harmful action of free radicals. One can speculate that these compounds may strengthen the organism defenses and consequently prevent oxidative stress in humans. Therefore, over time, impaired cells can accumulate and lead to age-related diseases. A comparative study was carr...
